Discovering you mac address

When the computer is booted into Windows:

start button

run

cmd (for a command prompt)

getmac

or you may have to use ipconfig /all

When the computer is booted into linux:

xterm

ifconfig -a

Read off the hexadecimal number for your ethernet card and email it to your CO. e.g. 00:08:cb:1b:90:4d
